Our four areas of work

Black Sheep Alliance is a nonprofit rooted in LGBTQ+ and human rights expertise, focused on safety-led events, an interactive documentary, novels, and the upcoming RE:WEAR LAB project.

Safety-led events

End-to-end events for nonprofits across countries: team meetings for 3–30 people, training, team-building, conferences and multi-day festivals, with participant safety at the center.

Interactive documentary book

An online book in development, with the working title “Leave or Stay Silent”, exploring the personal stories of activists and human rights defenders who worked in Russia and later emigrated. The project is being developed jointly with the Moscow Community Center for LGBT+.

Interactive novels

Human rights through stories and meaningful choices. Our featured novel, Sky Over Samara, is nearly complete, with launch planned for December 2026.

BLACK SHEEP ALLIANCE IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION. AN EXPERIENCED TEAM.

Our team brings prior experience in human rights and LGBTQ+ rights work in Russia, including the North Caucasus. Today we apply that experience to safer events, documentary work and interactive storytelling.
